Since it achieved its city hood status in January 1964, Angeles City has experienced steady social and economic progress- never mind the disruption brought about by the eruption of Mt. Pinatubo in June of 1991 where it almost reduced our beautiful city into ashes.
From just an agricultural land to a boom town hosting American military personnel in Clark Air Base, Angeles City today is fast evolving into a cosmopolitan city while trying to regain some of its old charm; its old custom and traditions.
New hotels, shopping malls, casinos, restaurants, first-class subdivisions, hospitals and schools are now adorning the city's landscape offering no trace that our city is just a former barangay of San Fernando, the capital town of Pampanga.
It is an interesting time both for our proud residents and visitors to get to know this city once again. Our website attempts to give you the sights, sounds smells and the spirit of the past and present of Angeles City
