| SM City Clark is one with the world in a battle against A-H1N1 and other dreadful disease, joined by the community's heads from Angeles City Government, Angeles City Health Office,Angeles University Foundation Integrated School, Clark Water Corporation and Girl Scout of the Philippine, they all took part in the synchronized handwashing activity last June 24, 2009 at The Event Centre. The Assistant Mall Manager, Ms. Lana O Erroba, shared some programs that are being implemented in the mall, such as the increase frequency on disinfecting the comfort rooms and commonly contacted surfaces (i.e. Door handles, elevator buttons, escalator hand rails, etc.).Providing sufficient and accessible infection control supplies in the malls, such as hand hygiene products, alcohol dispensers in addition to liquified antibacterial soap.The increase of frequency in cleaning and changing aircon filters and the introduction of fresh air daily inside all air conditioned space in the mall. She also added that handwashing with soap is among the most effective and inexpensive ways to prevent an illness thus we should all practice the same. |
