AUF earns COE for teacher education
Angeles University Foundation was recently named as a Center of Excellence for Teacher Education by the Commission on Higher Education (CHED), according to AUF president Atty. Joseph Emmanuel L. Angeles.
This new achievement cements our status as the premier higher education institution in Region III and as one of the best universities in the Philippines, says Angeles.
According to a letter from CHED, AUF has successfully passed the criteria set forth by the Commission in the selection of centers of excellence. The decision was made during the en banc meeting of the Commission on May 12, 2010.
Aside from being a COE in teacher education, AUF also has the following distinctions: accreditation by CHED’s Institutional Quality Assurance Monitoring and Evaluation (IQUAME), ISO 9001:2000 by TUV SUD certification, Center of Excellence in Information Technology, Autonomous Status since 2003, Center of Development for Computer Engineering, and PAASCU accreditation. ***
