By using or visiting the Site, you expressly agree to be bound by this Terms and all applicable laws and regulations governing the Site.
Description of Service
ACS provides users with access to a rich collection of resources, including information about Angeles City, directory listings, different articles or information contributed by volunteer writers. ACS also provided a service where members can participate in forums, like community billboard, buying and selling of goods, viewing and posting of job vacancies and posting of greetings or announcements through Shout out and communicating with members through the chatroom
You also understand and agree that the Service may include advertisements and that these advertisements are necessary for ACS to provide the Service. You also understand and agree that the Service may include certain communications from ACS, such as service announcements, administrative messages and the ACS Newsletter, and that these communications are considered part of ACS membership and you will not be able to opt out of receiving them.
Your Registration Obligations
In consideration of your use of the Service, you represent that you are of legal age to form a binding contract and are not a person barred from receiving services under the laws of the Republic of the Philippines or other applicable jurisdiction. You also agree to provide true, accurate, current and complete information about yourself and maintain and promptly update the information to keep it true, accurate, current and complete. If you provide any information that is untrue, inaccurate, not current or incomplete, or ACS has reasonable grounds to suspect that such information is untrue, inaccurate, not current or incomplete, ACS has the right to suspend or terminate your account and refuse any and all current or future use of the Service (or any portion thereof). ACS is concerned about the safety and privacy of all its users, particularly children. You agree to supervise and be responsible for all usage of minors of the Services under your name or your account.
Password and Security
Upon registration, you will choose a username and password. You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of the password and account and are fully responsible for all activities that occur under your password or account. You agree to immediately notify ACS of any unauthorized use of your password or account or any other breach of security, and ensure that you exit from your account at the end of each session. ACS cannot and will not be liable for any loss or damage arising from your failure to comply with this Section.
However, you could be held liable for losses incurred by ACS or another party due to someone else using your account or password. You may not use anyone else's account at any time, without the permission of the account holder. You acknowledge, consent and agree that ACS may access, preserve and disclose your personal information if ACS deems necessary or is required to satisfy any applicable law, regulation, legal process or governmental request or in good faith believes that such access, preservation or disclosure is reasonably necessary to: comply with legal process; enforce this Agreement; respond to claims that you have violated the rights of others; respond for customer service; protect the rights, property and safety of ACS, its members and users. ACS reserves the right at all times to edit, refuse to post or to remove any information or materials, in whole or in part, in ACS' sole discretion.
Member Conduct
ACS does not control the content posted via the service and, as such, does not guarantee the accuracy, integrity or quality of such content. You understand that by using the service, you may be exposed to content that is offensive, indecent or objectionable. Under no circumstances will ACS be liable in any way for any content, including, but not limited to, any errors or omissions in any content, or any loss or damage of any kind incurred as a result of the use of any content posted, emailed, transmitted or otherwise made available via the service.
You agree to not use the Service to:
a. upload, post, email, transmit or otherwise make available any content that is unlawful, harmful, threatening, abusive, harassing, tortious, defamatory, vulgar, obscene, libelous, invasive of another's privacy, hateful, or racially, ethnically or otherwise objectionable;
b. harm minors in any way;
c. impersonate any person or entity, including, but not limited to, a ACS official, forum leader, guide or host, or falsely state or otherwise misrepresent your affiliation with a person or entity;
d. upload, post, email, transmit or otherwise make available any Content that you do not have a right to make available under any law or under contractual or fiduciary relationships (such as inside information, proprietary and confidential information learned or disclosed as part of employment relationships or under nondisclosure agreements);
e. upload, post, email, transmit or otherwise make available any material that contains software viruses or any other computer code, files or programs designed to interrupt, destroy or limit the functionality of any computer software or hardware or telecommunications equipment;
You acknowledge, consent and agree that ACS may access, preserve and disclose your account information and Content if required to do so by law or in a good faith belief that such access preservation or disclosure is reasonably necessary to comply with legal process.
Indemnity
You agree to indemnify and hold ACS and its subsidiaries, affiliates, officers, agents, employees, partners and licensors harmless from any claim or demand, including reasonable attorneys' fees, made by any third party due to or arising out of content you submit, post, transmit or otherwise make available through the service, your use of the service, your connection to the service, your violation of the terms, or your violation of any rights of another.
No Resale of Service
You agree not to reproduce, duplicate, copy, sell, trade, resell or exploit for any commercial purposes, any portion of the service (including your ACS ID), use of the service, or access to the service.
Buying and Selling of Goods
ACS Buy and Sell is offered solely as forum for you to utilize the services to buy and sell goods. ACS is not involved in any transaction between you and any other party who uses the Website, and is not acting as your or any other party's agent. ACS cannot screen, censor or otherwise control the listings or any transactions, including whether a listing is accurately described, whether an item can be legally purchased or sold, or whether a transaction will be completed as described by the seller or the buyer. Further, ACS cannot control or warrant the behavior of the users of the services. As such, your use of ACS is at your own risk, and ACS disclaims any liability with regard to use of said services and any actions resulting from your or any other party's participation in the services. You hereby agree to release ACS, its suppliers, service partners, agents, employees, consultants, officers and directors from all claims, demands and damages, whether actual or consequential, of every kind, whether known or unknown, disclosed or undisclosed, arising out of or in connection with any and all listings, transactions or any other use of ACS. Further, because ACS is not involved in any transactions between you and other users of the services, ACS cannot and will not be involved in resolving any disputes relating to any completed or uncompleted transaction for the purchase or sale of listed goods.
Without limitation, by listing an item for sale, you represent and warrant that you have the legal right to sell and deliver the item, that the offer for sale shall not be withdrawn after the same has been made, that the item is not counterfeit, that it is a genuine authentic item, that the photograph and description you have provided therefore is accurate and shall not in anyway mislead others.
It is your responsibility to determine whether the purchase or sale of any listed item is authorized by law, statute, or regulation. Without limitation, the following items may not be sold or offered for sale on the ACS Buy and sell: firearms, explosives, and ammunition; alchoholic beverages; tobacco products; pharmaceuticals, prohibited and regulated drugs; counterfeit, pirated or stolen goods; counterfeit, pirated or other unauthorized software, including unlicensed back-up copies, beta or pre-release software, academic edition software licensed solely for use by authorized educational institutions and other users; any goods that infringe or otherwise violate another party's rights, including copyright, patent, trademark, or rights of publicity or privacy; goods that are in ACS' sole discretion, indecent, obscene or pornographic; registered or unregistered securities; goods which do not have the legal right to sell; goods which are misrepresented or which do not in fact exist; goods which, if sold via the services, would cause ACS to violate any law. Statute or regulation. ACS reserves the right to cancel any listing at any time for any reason, with or without cause, and reserves the right to prohibit or restrict access to the Services to anyone at any time, with or without cause.
Posting and Viewing of Jobs
The ACS Hotjobs is intended for individuals seeking employment and for employers or recruiters seeking candidates for employment. You may use this service only for lawful purposes. For job seekers, this service is hereby for your personal use to seek employment opportunities for yourself. While employers, are granted right to access and use the site only for internal business use-seeking candidates for employment. ACS is not an employment agency or a recruiting firm, and makes no representations or guarantees regarding the effectiveness or timeliness in meeting the employment objectives. ACS does not guarantee that information posted will result in candidates being hired or positions being filled, and is not responsible for any employment decisions, for whatever reason made.
Entering Chatroom and Forum
Any opinions expressed by a user are of those of the user alone, and are not to be attributed to ACS. ACS cannot and does not assume responsibility for the accuracy, completeness, safety, timeliness, legality or applicability of anything said or written by any user.
ACS cannot control the information provided by users. Users' information might be offensive, harmful, untimely, inaccurate and/or deceptive and, accordingly, you agree to exercise caution, discretion and common sense when using the service.
ACS does not allow any illegal activities. Specifically, advocate illegal conduct or participate in illegal or fraudulent schemes. Stalking of others, in chat room, forum or in another manner, is a serious offense. In many areas, such behavior is considered to be a criminal act. ACS has the right to release information to the proper authorities, because of a violation of our standards, or because of unlawful acts, if the information is subpoenaed, and if we deem it necessary and/or appropriate.
ACS does not tolerate expressions of bigotry, hatred, harassment or abuse, nor will tolerate threats of harm to anyone. ACS encourage discussion and exchange of ideas, ACS does not allow threatening, defamatory, abusive, or illegal statements. Impersonation of other members will be considered a form of harassment, and will not be tolerated.
Dealings with advertisers
Your correspondence or business dealings with, or participation in promotions of, advertisers found on or through the Service, including payment and delivery of related goods or services, and any other terms, conditions, warranties or representations associated with such dealings, are solely between you and such advertiser. You agree that ACS shall not be responsible or liable for any loss or damage of any sort incurred as the result of any such dealings or as the result of the presence of such advertisers on the Service.

The blogs submitted and posted in this website are solely opinions, stories and experiences shared by volunteers, writers who are not in any way affiliated to ACS.
